Freedom, Love and Music.
Tribes of Beorma
Tribes of Beorma, curating soundtracks that are designed to transcend you to feelings of euphoria in carefully selected locations of enchantment and mysticism. Dance as you please, in the same way our ancestors did thousands of years’ ago. We might be inundated with luxuries these days however, that doesn’t mean we need them and the essence of humanity remains the same - freedom, love and music.
Tribes have travelled across the world for thousands of years’ in search of knowledge, pilgrimage and riches. We search the world for locations where we can bring our tribes together and create memories that will last forever.
We all deserve the chance to let go of our thoughts and responsibilities every once in a while…
Afro Saxon is a term that derives from our love of afro house and british origins. This term can be used to describe our tribal attendees of all complexion, religion and prestige. As many will be aware, Birmingham (the home of our founders) was called Beorma in the Saxon 6th Century when it was just one small settlement in thick forest.

![Afro Saxons, following the postponement of Tribes 7, we are delighted to announce our first of TWO alternative events we will be hosting this summer.

Within the grounds of 17th Century, Grade 1 listed Stately Home, Blyth Hall. Tribes of Beorma will be hosting a stage in collaboration with longstanding and experienced event creators, Amplified and Funky Underground.
You will be graced with our inspiriting, Tribes vibes in a location steeped in history and opulence. Inherited and re-built by prominent Antiquarian, Sir William Dugdale between 1690-1700. This venue is deeply rooted in Beorma with the original owner, Bill Dugdale Senior, a former chairman of Aston Villa Football Club.
The Hall was built on the banks of the peaceful River Blythe which runs alongside the property. Earlier generations of Dugdales would have enjoyed dishes of freshly-caught trout, eel, perch and pike from the river and fishponds beside Blyth. These days, guests can explore the leafy river banks and the creeks behind the Hall, enjoying the serenity of one of the Midlands’ prettiest stretches of river.
The gardens reflect the beautiful building they surround and makes for an ideal location to share our unmistakable atmosphere. Let’s bring together one of the most diverse, friendly and warm crowds in the UK, the Afro Saxons.
